Weathered Wood Farmhouse Spool Clock {And your feedback, please...}

It's official.

I'm a fool for the spool.

Spool clock that is.

There's just something about the oversized piece of repurposed farmhouse-style goodness that appeals to me.

While it's possible to add working clock hands, I'm loving the simplicity of the clock face as wall art. It gives the impression of time standing still, or a place where there is no need to be rushed by hours or minutes.

Am I getting too philosophical? :)

You may remember the first clock face I made...

A sweet friend and fellow blogger bought it from me.

I can't wait to see where she puts it!

I would love to get your feedback...

Do you prefer the weathered wood or white face? Do you like the numbers as they are or would you prefer roman numerals?

I'm starting to make some of these (for local purchase only... can you imagine what they would cost to ship?!). If you're interested, please send me a note at:

Thank you for stopping by today!

  1. Good questions. I love both the weathered wood and the white. The numbers like you have them are great but roman numbers would be pretty awesome too. Ha I have been no help. Love these spool clocks. Those spools would make for a great table too. Great job. Beautiful pieces.

  2. I love them!! Wish I lived closer to you so I could buy one. I would probably get the white with roman numerals. I love that they don't have hands too.

  4. The weathered white is my favorite, but it would depend on the setting it's going into. If I had blue walls and a rustic vibe, I would go with the wood. Either way, it's lovely.

  8. I would love to help you out, but I love both of them! and you have the perfect space for the large wall art. That lets me out. Don't have a wall large enough.
