Our New Farmhouse-Style Shop Space {A Peek Inside}

 Hi Friends. Thank you so much for all that support you have shown me as I recently opened up a retail space inside one of my favorite (like all-time favorite) local antique shops, M&M Antiques in Monroe, WA. It has been a lot of fun filling our booth, and we are learning a lot in the process.

Although this is a busy time of year with back-to-school, I also think it is a really great time to begin a shop space as we head into the cozy, holiday seasons of fall and winter.

 I hope you don't mind if I occasionally share some shop posts here on the blog... It is another  canvas to try out decorating and display options that I may not be able to pull off in our own home. ;)

Please come in and have a look around...

As often as I'm able to find them, I hope to have items like grain sack pillows, bread boards, and dough bowls.

Antique chandeliers and galvanized buckets always catch my eye.

My husband and I were thrilled to find four of these rustic produce stands. Their table top can lie flat or at an angle (pictured above).

This dresser/writing desk has some of the best patina I've ever seen.

I'm a sucker for authentic vintage signs. This one is double-sided.

I may have kept a small stash of these birch log candle holders at home for the fall and winter.
(But there are still tons at the shop!)

One of these chippy gray carriage doors sold and the other is tempting me to bring it home. They're chippy white on the other side. Hello flexibility! :)

These 1803 candles are my favorites! We are almost sold out of them so I just ordered a new batch. The Farmhouse scent is awesome any time of year. We have White Pumpkin and Pumpkin Hollow for fall. And just wait until you smell the Christmas scents!

Thank you so much for visiting today.

Phase 2 is an online shop. Please stay tuned!

Xo

    1. Thank you Susan! I really enjoyed your latest post and empathize with you... it is always a hard transition to go from a home that is full of life and freedom over the summer back to the long school days. But you seem to be making the transition well with all your beautiful vegetables from the garden and apples from the tree... I can imagine your children returning home, opening the door and being greeted by the scent of a warm apple pie! It shows you were thinking of them while they were away for the day, and I love that. Thank you for visiting today!
