~ Valentine's Day Porch ~

It's nice when just a few simple touches change the feel of a space. 

I added some valentine-inspired color to our winter porch with a fringe heart, hung from the wreath, and a floral burlap pillow cover on the bench.

The felt fringe heart was easy to make and came in a kit, found in one of Target's $3 bins. (I used a heavier, natural twine instead of the baker's twin that came in the kit.)

And this rustic pillow cover provides a welcome reminder that spring, with its flowers and sunshine, is on its way...

Our cats, who love the porch, will think we did this just for them. ;)
