Hi Friends ~ I hope you are enjoying the weekend.
I've been working on making our back covered porch more inviting as we head into the season where we'll be using it more. Most of the items I used were things we already had in storage, or in our house.
All year I look forward to our lilacs blooming!
I added some of the white 1905 farmhouse doors to
break up the gray background of our house...
And to add a more indoor/outdoor feel. I guess "door" is the key word here.
I may be a little obsessed.
Too much of a good thing?
This vintage wood and metal glider is a favorite of our boys.
We found it on Craigslist for $15.
So glad you stopped by today.
Are you working on any outdoor spaces? Thinking of trying something new in the garden, on the porch, or in the yard? Keep the ideas coming! ;)
Julie, your porch and the backyard (that I can see) are very inviting and old-fashioned comfortable looking. What are the white flowers in the vase with the lilacs? I've never seen those before.

Thank you Ginene! I just clipped those white flowering branches from a bush in our front yard. :) I thought they were interesting, and don't know what type of plant that is. I'd love to know.

Thank you Cyndee! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you... the rugs are just a heavy grass/sisal since both porches are covered. They have held up surprisingly well!
