I wish there was something I could spray on wisteria as a sort of "perma-freeze."
(I realized that I daydream of doing this each spring. ;)
It's just too beautiful to only last a few weeks!
Not long after moving here (2 1/2 years ago), we found the original landscape blueprints for our yard rolled up in our laundry room. It was so interesting to see all the thought and detail that went into designing the landscape.
We are grateful to our home's original owners for planning such beautiful scenery. We are reaping the benefits of mature landscaping that would have taken us years and years to plant and tend. (And quite honestly, not sure that we would have thought things through quite like they did! ;)
This wisteria covers our smaller back porch, which is just off the kitchen
(those are the kitchen windows) and accessible from the mudroom
(green door to the right, below).

Have you begun working in your garden?
We typically plant our vegetable garden on Mother's Day.
Hopefully we can keep that tradition alive this year!
Hope you enjoy glimpses of spring as you go about your day...
Thank you for stopping by!

DeleteThe clematis I'd like to freeze. I love the wisteria. At my favorite nursery it's branches (?) twirl around and around the entire place at the roofline. And that place is huge!
