Our Farmhouse Master Bedroom Makeover Update...

Okay. Our master bedroom update. Get ready...

See that armoire that used to be a very yellowy-shade of cream? Now it's white.

It doesn't sound like a big change, but it really made a difference! This corner of the room is so much brighter.

It may not scratch that itch of a total farmhouse makeover that we could see in a one-hour Fixer Upper episode, but it's what I have to report. This is real life, people. ;)

So now, all the bedroom furniture has been painted,
including the bed and bedside tables...

We swapped out the bedside lamps for these:

And gave them a little lift with some perfectly aged vintage books.

Next in this room? Painting all the walls (you can't tell from these pictures, but two of the walls are currently the pale, yet bright, green color they were when we moved in). The curtain rods are black and either need to be painted or replaced. And then, I'd love to create some sort of accent wall behind the bed. Suggestions?

Thanks for hanging in there for what is possibly the slowest master bedroom makeover on a blog, ever. You are true friends. :)

Are you planning a Thanksgiving meal or pinning Christmas inspiration pics? Or like me, both?! I'd love to hear from you and always appreciate your comments!
