Here at our farmhouse, spring decor primarily consists of three things...
Eggs, nests, and flowers or flowering branches.
Adding these simple touches couldn't be easier!
Here are five ideas to get you started...
(Some affiliate links are provided for your convenience.)
2. Display flowering branches in a vintage French olive bucket. Don't forget to put the branches in water! A glass pitcher, filled with water, works well inside the bucket.
I usually use fresh flowering branches from our yard (the price is right, and they smell amazing!). If you don't have access to flowering branches, many grocery stores sell them this time of year. Faux flowering branches would be beautiful too, and wouldn't need to be replaced all season.
4. Fill a weathered wire basket (or two!) with eggs to add spring charm
to a mantel, bookshelf or table.
5. Add texture by stacking mini nests, and tying with twine. (I found this little stack at Michael's. You can find similar nests here.)
What are your favorite ways to add spring to your home?
I'd love to hear!
I'm off to a field trip to the zoo (here's to hoping the rain holds out! :) And speaking of animals, it's almost time for us to get some chicks. I'll be sure to share pictures with you when we do.
Thank you so much for visiting...
