Happy Weekend!
Just a quick post today to share our mudroom bench/coat rack. When I found it on Craigslist a few years ago, it was a dark, army green color. I painted it white, but it really needed another coat of paint. Instead, it got lots of coats thrown at it (and backpacks too)! This past week, I finally got around to painting this little workhorse of a bench...
It was a small project that took me forever to get to. (Do you have any of those?)
Once the paint had dried, I indulged in a little bit of staging, complete with some of our boys' keepsake cowboy boots.
I can only imagine how youthful and trim this bench felt after shedding its typical 15+ jackets, hoodies and overstuffed backpacks. (Not to mention every imaginable piece of sports equipment! :)

One of the reasons I decided to paint this week was because of a product called My Paint Saint. I realized that I've never shared this product with you here (though you may have seen it if you follow me on Instagram).
Part of what keeps me from painting is the hassle of opening and sealing paint cans, and washing out brushes. There are times we only have 30 minutes to paint at a time, and the prep and clean-up wouldn't be worth it.
My Paint Saint changes that!
My Paint Saint is a self-contained, quality brush (that you never have to wash!) in a sealed container that you fill with paint for touch-ups or small projects like painting furniture. On the back is space to write the color of paint and where it's used in your home. Imagine having one of these on-hand for each paint color in your home...
Now that would be some serious spring organization. (But only if you're ready to never clean a paint brush again.)
Do you have any painting projects to tackle? Have you tried My Paint Saint?
I'd love to hear!
Xo
I haven't tried this paint, but what a wonderful concept! I have been painting the past few days, and I just hate cleaning up brushes! Shall check this out.

Hi Brenda - You will love it. It's not paint - you pour your own paint in it. I just ordered another one :) It makes all the difference... I hate the clean up too! :)
DeleteWhat a great coat rack! Looks brand new. One of my favourite past-times is getting an old piece of furniture and repainting it. I had never heard of the My Paint Saint product. I'm always forgetting to clean my brushes and have to spend money buying replacements. Thanks for the tip!
