Our New (Old, Actually) Farmhouse Hutch...

Hi Friends ~ I hope it's been a great week for you and that you're looking forward to the weekend! I wanted to share with you a new (old) piece of furniture that has really changed the feel of our dining room. This vintage hutch was purchased from Anthropologie by a lady I met through Facebook Marketplace. She was downsizing homes and sold it to us for 20 percent of what she paid! I could tell she really loved the piece and I assured her I did as well. ;)

It's been fun styling the shelves, and thinking of the possibilities over the different seasons.

Don't you love it when you find that one special piece that really seems to finish off a room? My one tip, that you may already know is - if you find a one-of-a-kind piece online (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, etc.), that you really want, act quickly. My husband was traveling, but I knew I could go pick it up while our kids were in school, so I responded to the listing right away. My Dad was kind enough to ride along with me to get the hutch. And the seller told me she'd had lots of interest in the piece after I contacted her (just as I suspected)! She even had some workers who loaded it up for us.

I picked up this vintage crate about a year ago at Home Goods. I don't know if they still sell some vintage items, but that would definitely keep me going back! As if I needed another reason... You too?

Thank you for stopping by today!

Now tell me, what great finds have you scored lately? I'd love to hear!

Xo,
~julie

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
