Hi Friends! Just stopping in today to share a little fall-at-the-farm love with you in the form of chickens and pumpkins. I hope you're enjoying sunny skies and a blanket of leaves where you live!
(Assuming sunshine and autumn leaves are your thing too... ;)
This Lavender Orpington is not the only one who is feeling puffed up. Do you see those orange pumpkins in the chippy blue wheelbarrow? We grew them in our raised beds, and we're feeling kinda proud of ourselves...
Our neighbor beat us to a full-fledged pumpkin patch, but we're taking notes...
And you may have heard there's a new sheriff in town? Make that two.
They like to proclaim the town rules each morning at around 5:00 am, sometimes before.
We try to think of it as a morning greeting, but I could really use another cup of coffee...
Hope your week is going well!
Xo
Great fall photos. I enjoyed the little tour of your chicken coop. Happy Fall! Cheryl

ReplyDeleteOh, love the lav Orps. I used to have quite a few of them. The Buffs seem to be the friendliest of all the Orp colors. They look like happy chickens.
