Charming (and easy!) Place Card Candles

I know, I know. The Dollar Tree candles again.

But here's a new little twist… by adding names to the candles,
they now make sweet place cards as well as provide beautiful candlelight.

We will be hosting our family Christmas Eve dinner tonight,
before attending our church's Christmas Eve Candlelight service.

This DIY project is pretty self-explanatory, based on the pictures.
I hot-glued vintage sheet music to the glass dollar candles. (If you don't have
sheet music on-hand, there are lots of great free sheet music printables online!)

I printed the names vertically on card stock paper.

I wanted an aged look. So, once the ink dried, I dipped the paper in coffee and let dry (just lay the coffee-dipped paper on parchment paper on your counter while it dries). This step is optional.

I then tore the names for a more rustic look and
hot-glued them to the sheet music-covered candles.

I finished the candles by adding a little sprig of evergreen and ribbon.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
