As I write this Saturday evening, there are five boys having a ping pong tournament on our dining room table. Laser tag guns and muddy shoes fill our entryway. There's a pile of dishes in the sink. Sometimes, it's not pretty.
Sometimes, like tonight, it's better than pretty... and my heart is full.
Fast forward 18 hours. The party's over. It's Sunday afternoon, everyone is sleepy, and I'm ready for some home decor inspiration. ;)
Keeping It Cozy was one of the first blogs I ever read. I love Andrea's authentic farmhouse style. She recently shared her new wall of sliding barn doors. Can you say, "Over-Achiever?!" Love it Andrea!

When I received my "happy mail" - the September issue of Country Living - I remember thinking, "Wow, the cover looks just like September, the end of summer and early fall. How do they do it?" Well, it turns out that in this case, "they" was Heather Bullard, who I may or may not stalk on Instagram. Heather tells how she styled the California ranch featured in this month's Country Living magazine. She gives great styling tips along with a huge dose of eye candy here!
And then there's this inspiring autumn picnic brought to us by the amazingly talented Marian of Miss Mustard Seed. I mean, how did we not think of having a fall picnic in an apple orchard? And I like to think my set up would have looked something like hers. ;)

My friend Kelly, of The Essence of Home, added a planked wall in her home. It added so much character to her light and airy space!

I hope you enjoyed this weekend's inspiration as much as I did.
Happy Labor Day!
