Happy weekend, friends!
Our front porch is starting to look cheery, two local radio stations have begun playing Christmas music, and our seven-year-old has officially started marking off the days on his hand-made countdown until December 25th. It's coming!
And we have not forgotten about Thanksgiving, which is coming even faster! This weekend, I'll be making my menu and a giant grocery shopping list. Are you hosting this year? Traveling? Or having a few low-key days off?
I wanted to share a few inspiring images and ideas I've come across this week...
If you love cotton stems, but have a hard time getting past their price tag (like I do), you must check out this DIY by Twelve on Main. It's genius.
It's always fun to find new (to me or you) Instagram feeds that have a fresh, creative feel. This is my latest IG find and I think you'll love it too!
Celebrations of a Holiday Girl shares a fun Thanksgiving Day Playlist. Think Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. I think these would be great to mix in with some hymns. Who else grew up singing, "We Gather Together to Ask the Lord's Blessing...?" I still sing it to our boys, and I'm sure they enjoy every minute of it. Especially our newly-turned teenager! ;)
Hope you have a wonderful, blessed weekend!

your little farmstead on a snowy day must be spectacular.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think it is, but we've only had a couple of those days in the three years we've lived here. :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
