Farmhouse Fall Decor {Cotton Ball Garland & Rust Star Flower Bushes}

 Product was received in exchange for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

I recently added some rustic fall decor to our living room mantel with this 5-foot cotton ball garland and rust star flower bush from Craft House Designs.

While I enjoy bringing in branches with leaves, and other natural accents from the outdoors, I am loving that the rust star flower bush provides the warm colors of autumn without shedding leaves or flowers... or needing water. ;) With the busyness of a new school year and sports starting up (though they never really end!), I'm craving simple solutions.

I stacked some folded burlap sacks on the mantel, and also tucked one into the slip covered wingback chair. Though I love burlap accents throughout the year, they seem to be especially fitting in fall.

And here's a close-up look at the beautiful cotton ball garland...

I have another rust star flower bush in our family room...

Next on the fall home decorating to-do list is tackling our porch. There's just something so refreshing about cleaning up your porch... and ours is definitely due! And did I mention we're getting a new roof? I'm excited to share with you what we decided on (you may remember we were debating whether to get a shingle or metal roof).

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?

Be sure to come back tomorrow for fresh home inspiration on the Sundays at Home link up party, where so many of you share your home, DIY, cooking and gardening ideas and projects with us.

Enjoy the weekend!

Xo

ps - If you're looking to get organized this back-to-school season, how great are these?
