Happy Spring from our Home to Yours...

Hi Friends ~ Just stopping in to say hi and share a couple of pictures, which show that spring is finally starting to show up here in the Pacific Northwest. (I was starting to wonder...)

You know the saying, "April showers bring May flowers?" If there's truth to that, we're expecting a floral wonderland

It hasn't been the typical Seattle drizzle - it's been a downpour.

The other day I was driving our boys, and there was so much water on the highway. Plus, it was coming down in buckets. For a moment, I felt like I was driving a boat, not a car.

Ah, Seattle... You don't need to try so hard. You've already earned the title of Emerald City.

It's definitely green here!

So the upside to all of this rain is that the landscape is becoming beautiful again, and our lilacs look to be a week or two from blooming. We are making good progress on our middle son's room, and we have an exciting new addition to our little farmstead coming later this week. Can't wait to share with you!

Is spring in full bloom where you live? Are you getting rain like us (misery loves company), or are you soaking up the sunshine (it helps me to know there are blue skies somewhere...)?

Hope your week is off to a great start!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Xo

ps - I just saw sun is in the forecast!

  1. Hi Julie,
I think the weather everywhere is crazy this year. Old Man Winter and Spring need to stop playing tug of war and Spring needs to win. We here in the midwest are so over winter and need warm days with sunshine. Have a great week.

It’s been super windy and a bit of a chill.
Hope to enjoy some of spring before it’s summet.
