The last thing I want to do is rush sweet summer.
But, for those of us who love to nest, thinking about ideas for the coming season is just what we do! Today I'm sharing some fall images from our farmhouse last year...
I used bottles painted white to hold leafy branches throughout our home.
You can see more from the post "A More Neutral, Natural Palette of Fall."
I love the whimsy and texture of these oversized acorns with pinecone base.
My son and I had fun collecting acorn tops to make these felt ball acorns.
And I loved the rustic, fall decor at my cousin's wedding, where the reception was held in a beautiful barn...
You can see more of the wedding here.
I hope you enjoyed these little glimpses of fall, where nature - and sweet kids in wedding attire - steal the show! :)
Thank you for visiting. It means so much to me.

I love these great Fall decorating ideas! I wish Fall would hurry up and get here just because our summer has been so dreadfully hot. I'm looking forward to cooler temps. Love those cute felt covered acorns and that table setting with the eucalyptus.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelly! I hope it cools down for you soon. We've had a pretty cool summer but are just now getting a heat wave... they've actually issued a heat warning here... not many have A/C in our area!
DeleteSuch sweet spaces. Fall is my favorite season - looking forward to indoor nesting.

ReplyDeleteLoved your simple fall then as well as now! I am so looking forward to cooler days...and I am sure living in your state of Washington as I remember oh so well, fall comes upon you ever so quickly. Here it drags on and on, and the evidence of fall is gone before we even notice it here on our Southern Ca. Deserts.
ReplyDeleteI will enjoy creating fall here as well, the cooler and colder months are favorites of mine.
See you soon and the beauty you create...yes? getting dressed up for a wedding or any event when so young adds importance to ones young life.
