Sundays at Home #162

Welcome to Sundays at Home!

We are happy to announce that Kristy, author of Starfish Cottage, will be joining us as our new co-host! The beautiful, airy dining room (pictured above) is just one of the many gorgeous areas in Kristy's home. Her cottage is located in Southwest Florida on a saltwater canal (dreamy, right?).

Kristy's blog highlights her passion for decorating, cooking, gardening, and the coastal lifestyle. She also shares her family's personal adoption story, and let me warn you... you won't be able to stop reading! You'll quickly find that the beautiful home you see is a reflection of Kristy's heart. You can learn more about Kristy and Starfish Cottage here.

And now onto the party!

Here's what Jennifer, Susan, Kelly and I have been up to...

Nothing says country living like a quilt... Except maybe a quilt star surrounded by barn wood! Jeanie, of Create and Babble, shares details of this rustic DIY Wooden Quilt Star Tray, perfect for any farmhouse-inspired home.

Claire, author of Claire Justine, has baked up this divine Earl Grey's Blueberry and Almond Polenta Cake
The recipe claims it serves 8. I'm not so sure we'd need all eight to enjoy this cake!

"Hate your tile floors? Paint them!" That's just what Kelli and Kristi of Lolly Jane have done,
and the transformation is incredible. (You just have to see the before and after pictures!)
