Farmstead Decor {All in the Details}

Hi Friends! I hope you're doing well. If you're thinking that the picture below could use a big bucket of lilacs, so am I. Stay tuned... About two more months. ;) Until then, I thought I'd share some simple farmhouse details that add lots of character and charm in any season...

In our family room, vintage galvanized chicken nesting boxes serve as bookshelves. And grain sacks, with their history and texture, have been repurposed as pillow covers.

Shelves are styled simply with a vintage inspired sign, linen towel, vintage books, succulents and dried lavender.

 Did I mention vintage books?

"Fresh Eggs" signs are practically synonymous with farmhouses, are they not?!

Chippy antique shutters, an old bistro chair and a beautiful basket filled with blankets make a fun little grouping, or they can be used separately around the house, wherever you need a dose of country inspiration...

Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate it so much.
