Whimsical Easter Table Setting...
The mini "Happy Easter Banners" were simply made with card stock paper. I used the "American Typewriter" font and hot glued the triangles to twine…tied them to twigs from our garden and voila! : )
I love the tone-on-tone effect of the runner on the antique white table. I made the runner from a drop cloth purchased at home depot for about $12. Since I only used about 1/5 of the canvas, it cost me $2.40 for this runner. I used scissors just to make a small cut past the hem so that I could tear the fabric lengthwise for a more rustic look. I left the two short edges hemmed. It took 5 - 10 minutes and gives a similar look to grain sack. Easy and affordable (usually 2 of my crafting criteria)!
