Farmhouse Christmas Table Settings and Favors...

I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season and not feeling too overwhelmed. I'm trying to take one day at a time and not get too far ahead of myself. (Ask me how I'm doing with that tomorrow! ;)

Today, I thought I'd round up some table settings and favor ideas that we've used here these past few years. They are all fairly simple, and incorporate nature as well as a vintage feel...

(Affiliate links provided below.)

All was calm here (at least on the table ;) with greenery, berries, pomegranates and candlelight. The oatmeal color grain sack table runner with red stripe added a layer of texture to the table.

Oh how I love these wrapped soaps from Anthropologie! They make adorable favors.

Brown paper packages tied up with string... were at the kids table one year. Inside those brown boxes? Games like checkers, jenga, and dominos to buy everyone a little more time around the table! I made the little boxwood wreaths for place cards out of mini embroidery hoops and boxwood branches from our yard.

Jars filled with gingerbread babies and tied with vintage-inspired tags make sweet, homemade favors everyone will enjoy.

I was excited to find these olive buckets with red or green handles at Target (I'm not sure if they still have them - I hope so.). I clipped various greenery for a dramatic little winter arrangement at each place. I enjoy tucking greenery around the house for the holidays and hoped others would too. ;) If you've been here before, you know how much I love these flashcards from Haystack Mercantile! (They are great for gift wrapping too.)

Will you be entertaining in the weeks to come? Or maybe you already have! What is your favorite gathering to host? Any special touches or traditions you'd like to share? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
