It's amazing what a difference a little pop of color through fresh flowers
can make this time of year!
Here's a little tip: Try adding fresh flowers with artificial flowers you keep on-hand. I picked up these beautiful pink tulips at Trader Joe's and arranged them with the white artificial flowers I've had for a long time.
Using artificial flowers with your fresh flowers provides a much fuller bouquet at a fraction of the cost. It also allows you to incorporate flower types you love during seasons where they are harder to find.
To keep the tulips fresh, I put them in a mason jar with water inside the pitcher. I tucked the artificial flower stems into the pitcher - not the water. :)
Using well-loved boots for decoration and easy access is
a fun farmhouse-style accessory...
But my very favorite item in our entryway is the framed canvas of our three sons... They've grown a lot in the fours years since the picture was taken!
Thank you for stopping by! I hope your day is going well...

I love that idea! i never would've thought to add faux with fresh. Your faux flowers look real too!
ReplyDeleteI guess you could mix, the faux have plastic wire stems and would do well in water, they all look so darn real here. Love the inviting feel to the entryway....the chest is fabulous.
