I wanted to share with you this vintage green linen
tablecloth I found recently at a thrift shop...
I almost walked right by, but the beautiful trim caught my eye. It had been awhile since I had gone thrift shopping. I was reminded why it is so much fun! Many pieces are vintage and one-of-a-kind. Sure, you have to hunt and dig a bit. You also have to be able to picture the item outside of the store. But, if you can, you just may end up with a unique item for your home at a steal of a price!
I brought the chicken waterer with succulents in from our
porch for an added touch of greenery and farmhouse style.
Have you scored any good finds recently? Or, are you on the hunt for something these days? Inspire me (and distract me from the return of the rain)!
xo

DeleteYour green table cloth looks just like spring. It looks soft and all broken in. That's a great find. :) Jo
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jo. Yes, broken in just enough! :)
DeleteHI!!!Wow I am so happy to find your blog...your style is well....stunning!! Love all your vignettes, going to have a good look around right now..all the best Chrissy
ReplyDeleteAww, that is SO sweet. I appreciate the encouragement. Hope you'll visit again Chrissy! :)
DeleteI like it. Perfect for spring. I think the lace is really pretty. I purchased a cream colored tablecloth with red stripes down the center ( think grain sack style) for $.99 at a local thrift shop. No stains, no holes. I love it on my table or sometimes just folded on my living room ottoman, etc. it's one of my favorite things.
ReplyDeleteWow! Okay, so I'll trade you for the grain sack one you found! Ha! :) I found a white and blue grain sack (sort of) one awhile back... love it!

DeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteAmazing find, dear friend!!!
I purchased one similar to this while living in Baumholder, W. Germany in the early 1970's.
After my brothers divorce, I took him my Wedding China and this tablecloth for his home.
Thank you for sharing this lovely tablecloth, dear one.
When I saw this on your blog. . .my heart skipped a beat.
A precious memory rekindled!
Fondly,
Pat

ReplyDeleteThe way you blended different shades of green and incorporated nature into the space is pure genius. I'm now convinced that thrifted finds have this magical power to transform a room into a cozy haven.
