Farmhouse Easter Dining Room and Cabbage Flower Centerpiece

Happy Easter week!

Does it feel like spring where you're at? I hope so. And for those of you who just got a new blanket of snow, hang in there! Spring is on its way...

I was inspired by Courtney over at French Country Cottage, who made such pretty cabbage centerpieces. She even provides a video tutorial on how to make them.

This centerpiece was easy and fun for me to make. So if you're looking to dress up your Easter table, this could be the arrangement for you!

Using drop cloth and faux fur that I had on-hand, I made the simple bunny chair decorations below that our three sons may or may not appreciate. ;)

Tomorrow, we're going to be making our own natural egg dyes
from fruits and vegetables. Have you tried it yet? Any tips?

Thank you for stopping by...

Have a blessed Easter!

Xo

    1. It's one of those traditions that's messy (some years more than others!), but I enjoy seeing the boys getting into it. I know this stage won't last forever... so I will "soak" it up! Haha. Have a blessed Easter!

  8. Hi Julie, your dining room looks lovely! I fell in love with how you covered up your fireplace and will copy your idea! I love how simple it is. I will actually write a post about my fireplace with your idea and have it out next Friday, 1st of April and link back to your lovely blog. Although my fireplace comes nothing close to yours, lol! Thanks for the inspiration!!
