Snow Day! (At the Farmhouse)

I interrupt the regularly-scheduled decorating post to bring you S-N-O-W from Seattle! To any midwesterners out there, thank you for humoring us. While it might only look like a couple of inches to you... To us, it was a winter wonderland

Our chickens stayed huddled in their coop below... (and missed all the fun!)

It's been three years since we've gotten "this much" snow. So, we busted out the snow clothes, boots, sleds, hot chocolate and camera...

Schools all around declared it an official "Snow Day!"
as every local child's prayers were answered.

We weren't the only ones who enjoyed the snow. Our labs couldn't get enough!

Isn't it amazing how peaceful snow makes everything feel? I love how all the leaves we never raked, miscellaneous toys and tools were all blanketed in white. It's been a long time since our property looked this good. :)

Even our barn was flocked.

There's a little hill just down the road that was calling to us.

Oh to be a child again!

But I'll take watching these three any day...

Happy snow day from our home to yours!

Xo

  1. Your farm looks so pretty blanketed in snow! We didn't get quite as much snow as you did, but I still didn't "brave" getting out in the cold.

  2. It looks so gorgeous, I would be as excited as the children, I adore snow, sadly we don't get much of it here, maybe a sprinkling once every few years! So I have to be content with looking at your lovely photos and smiling, your boys look as if they are having so much fun and as you say snow is always so peaceful.

  7. In Happy Wheels: Snow Day! At the Farmhouse, picture characters slipping down icy hills, dodging snow-covered farm obstacles! Snowballs, frozen ponds, and hay bales turn each level into a slippery, chaotic adventure. It’d be a wintery, action-packed twist perfect for the game's wacky physics! fore more information must visit our website
