Refresh with Pillows {And An Easy Candle DIY}

Hi Friends! I hope you had a great weekend...

The other day, while my Mom and I were shopping for a vintage chandelier, I spotted two pillows that made me smile. You see, these pillows reminded me of the three young boys who have captured my heart and are growing way too fast!

I didn't buy the pillows right away. I went back a week or so later with one of my sons. I knew I wanted the pillow with the three tipis (just too perfect, with our three boys), but I was deciding between a second pillow with feathers or one with arrows. So, I asked my son which one he liked better. "The arrows," he answered confidently. "Because they're weapons." So arrows it was!

Since it's the time of year where candlelight starts to steal the show, and crisp autumn air makes us want to curl up with a good book... I thought I'd share again these simple, affordable book page candles. They cost about a dollar a piece and take just minutes to make! Find the tutorial here.

Thank you for stopping by today!

ps - The tipi and arrow pillows, along with many more styles, can be found at Bows and Burlap Designs. This is not a sponsored post. I just wanted to share this source, since I think you might enjoy the many styles of pillows. Not to mention, they are a great value!

  1. Pillows are one of my favorite things to change out. It's a quick and easy way to get a fresh look. Love your new pillows, they are so unique and perfect for fall. And how sweet that your son helped you with them. My kiddos are teenagers now and they're both into decorating and helping me pick things out too. Sally

  2. I love your new pillows! They're so cute and I like how they coordinate well together with the Indian theme. I've noticed that arrows are very popular right now. I'll have to check out that Etsy shop. Thanks for sharing it!
