An 1890 Farmhouse Tour (Love of Home)

Let's head over to a small town in Western New York where Susan, who authors the blog
Love of Homehas invited us in. I know what you're thinking. I thought it too...

Is this her inspiration home, or her actual house?

It's hers.

Isn't she a beauty?!

Susan has actually loved this home since she was little, growing up in the area. She always admired the "black and white" farmhouse. Thirty years later, it came on the market. She and her family have been treasuring it for the past 16 years, doing projects little by little, over time...

The porches just go on and on...

Isn't this back screened porch the coziest?

Inside, Susan has created a beautiful and comfortable home that she shares with her husband, daughter and two sons...

From pretty vignettes to a sentimental gallery wall, you can see Susan's Love of Home, and how she came up with the name of her blog

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed the tour!

To see more, please visit Susan at Love of Home.

I've enjoyed my first couple of weeks co-hosting the Sundays at Home link party with Susan and Kelly. We'd love to have you join us right back here, every Saturday beginning at 5:00 pm PST.

And in case you missed it, you can tour Kelly's beautiful Victorian Farmhouse here.

  2. I so love your feature, Julie, of Susan's home...it's gorgeous and so inviting! The black and white, the style, the setting...all remind me of my grandma Kate's house in Orchard Park, NY. Makes me wonder if Susan has a chestnut tree or two. ;) I lived in western NY until I was 10 and have so many fond memories there with her as a kiddo. Be blessed today, my friend!
