Early Fall Decorating {Neutral Farmhouse Style}

I don't know about you, but I like to ease into the seasons more than I used to. I remember a time when I used to get out all of the "fall boxes" one afternoon and my knee-high babies and I would string fall all over the house like little pumpkin fairies. :)

Those were very sweet, very busy, very orange days...

We don't have quite as many "boxes" of decorations anymore. Instead, I enjoy using more from nature - real pumpkins, branchy leaves, and lots of texture through pillows, blankets and baskets.

Farmhouse Fall Decorating {Part 1}

The last thing I want to do is rush sweet summer.

But, for those of us who love to nest, thinking about ideas for the coming season is just what we do! Today I'm sharing some fall images from our farmhouse last year...

Welcome To Our Fall Home Tour!

Welcome!

Perhaps you're visiting as part of the Blogger's Fall Home Tour 2015 hosted by Cozy Little House. I'm excited to be a part of the tour and am so glad you stopped by today!

I'm Julie, and I live here, at our little farmstead, with my husband, our three growing boys, our dog, two cats and chickens. I enjoy decorating in a vintage farmhouse style with a soft, sun-faded palette.

A More Neutral, Natural Palette of Fall...

I hope your week is going well.

Just stopping in to share a few photos of rustic fall-time beauty taken from nature.

Branches with changing leaves, apples and wheat pair nicely with bread boards, vases of white and woven baskets.

With simplicity, we welcome the crisp autumn air...
