2017 Top Ten Posts...

I want to start by saying thank you for reading our blog, and for the support you've shown us this past year. It really means so much to me! What a blessing to have this community of people who share a love for family, for home, for farmhouse design, and the simple joys of country living. It amazes me that we can be separated by miles (some of us by thousands of miles!) and still stay connected here. Turns out I am grateful for technology! And I am definitely grateful for each of you.

For the past almost four years now, I have blogged on farmhouse decorating, DIY projects, parties and gatherings, bits of our family life, mini farm living, and faith. If there are any topics you'd like to see more (or less) of here on the blog, I would love to hear about that in the comments section below. Thank you in advance for your feedback!

There will be some changes coming soon to the blog that I'm really excited about, and hope you will enjoy.

Below is a roundup of the top ten posts of 2017, based on views.
(You can read the whole posts by clicking on the pictures or links.)

1. Farmhouse Porch Ideas: Thanks to your support and a little love from Country Living, this post came in at number one! Galvanized buckets, including chicken waterers and a mop bucket, were the stars of the show.

2. Farmhouse Decorating for Early Fall {Wheat and Galvanized Buckets}: I couldn't get enough of that sun-kissed, full-of-texture wheat this past fall. And here are those galvanized buckets again (though I compared the ones on the porch in the previous post, and these are different, in case you were wondering).

I feel like I just got caught wearing the same outfit two days in a row.

3. Our Farmhouse Fall Entryway: A chippy blue water bucket, Cottonwood Shanty Scroll, and Colorways Gallery wool blanket helped make our fall entryway warm and inviting. Don't you love artists and small businesses?!

4. Our Farmhouse Spring Porch: We tried to make our spring porch welcoming with pillows, plants, an old dairy crate and weathered bench. Side note: I do best with hardy plants.

5. Here are the Highlights: This was a roundup of January posts from last year, including one friend's home tour, my best grain sack tips, and some of my favorite Instagram friends.

6. DIY Grain Sack Pillows {And Where to Buy Grain Sacks): Okay, here it is. If you like vintage European grain sacks, you're going to want to read this.

7. Spring at the Farmhouse Tour: This was a fun tour, where I joined several other farmhouse-style bloggers to share our homes in long-last spring.

8. Five (Easy) Farmhouse Style Spring Decorating Ideas: No rocket science here, but hopefully a little inspiration for spring.

9. They Inherited a 1905 Farmhouse (Part Two): A lot of heart and hard work, fueled by a family's dreams. It's a must-read!

10. A Farmhouse Kitchen in the Making: Still no new countertops (a new roof and car turned out to be more pressing this past year) but here's to working with what we have!

Thank you for stopping by today, and happy new year!

Don't forget to leave me your comments below on what you'd like to see more of here on the blog...
